Health and Justice IT Systems 2 Framework (Market Engagement) Home

Welcome to the Health and Justice IT Systems 2 Framework (Market Engagement) site

Foreword

NHS England has committed to procure future HJIS (Health & Justice Information Services) using the HJIS Capabilities and Standards Model. This version of the model represents a combination of generic Capabilities (the need for a core clinical GP solution to provide primary care in Places of Detention, or PoD) and specific requirements (additional and/or variant needs in one or more PoD). The model includes a full view of Supplementary Capabilities in the event that one or more of these Capabilities are introduced via a future change control.

There are two Detained Estate Clinical IT Systems (DECITS) Capabilities, and one set of additional Epics for the Prescribing Capability found under DECITS Prescribing which cover the specific requirements for Places of Detention:

Feedback, on the requirements summarised in the Overview below, is welcomed via email headed ‘HJIS requirements feedback’ to dcsc.commercial@nhs.net.
