Background

The GP Connect capabilities support the development of products that enable different systems to communicate so that clinicians in different care settings can:

  • view a patient’s GP practice record with Access Record: HTML
  • manage GP appointments with Appointment Management
  • import or download patient data with Access Record: Structured

GP Connect Access Record Phase 1 builds upon the initial GP Connect Access Record Structured delivery, which provides structured access to a patient’s medications and allergies.

Introduction of further Structured Profiles to augment the existing GP Connect Access Record Structured: Medications and Allergies.

The additional profiles contained within Phase 1 are

Phase 1 also includes updates to Linkages and Search Criteria, Resource Population, Medications and Medical Devises, Lists and the API itself.
