eMED3 - Replace the existing eMED3 form with a new 2022 version
Background
The current 2017 eMed3 template is out of date and needs replacing. Further changes to the MED3 template need to be made to accommodate future changes in support of additional professions who will be able to issue eMed3 forms following legislation changes.
Outline Plan
Changes cannot be fully implemented until the legislation is successfully laid in Parliament. Suppliers are required to satisfy the assurance processes in advance of this date and be ready to go live for all system users on the date the changes become law.

Summary of Change
Due to a number of changes in legislation the eMED3 Template (2017) requires updating; this legislation is outlined in 'The Social Security (Medical Evidence) and Statutory Sick Pay (Medical Evidence) (Amendment) Regulations 2010'.
