Background

Minor and patch changes have been identified by the GP Appointments Data Team. These changes better reflect what the solutions have delivered and also provide new example files.


Outline Plan

Suppliers to be asked to provide comment by COP 3rd March, 2021. Assuming there is no impact to suppliers the uplift of the Appointments Management - GP Standard will then take place on the dates given in the Roadmap item.

Slot/Appointment details – Import and Display – National Slot Type Category

Suppliers to import the National Slot Type Category file and display the following information to users:

  • Service Setting
  • Context Type
  • Category
  • Description

This is to support the mapping of a local Slot Type to a National Slot Type Category as defined in requirement GP-APMAN-06.

Any National Slot Type Category with an End Date to be visible to the user, but not selectable for mapping.

Any National Slot Type Category with an End Date that has passed to be not visible to the user.

Where Local Slot Types are mapped to a National Slot Type Category with an End Date that has passed Suppliers to record mapping as ‘Not Set

Supplier Set Mappings

Supplier to be able to set local Slot Type to National Slot Type Category mappings in bulk for Practices.

These bulk mappings will be provided by NHS Digital via a CSV file. An example can be found here. here.
