  • The primary source of reference data for Health or Care Organisations and individuals is the Organisation Data Service (ODS), see Data Standards for requirements

  • A single Health or Care Organisation can operate from multiple sites (e.g. main site and Branch site for GP Practices)

    • Multiple nationally recognised identification numbers and check digit where appropriate, including

      • GMP code

      • Prescriber identifier
