Supports the efficient planning and scheduling of the health and care workforce to ensure that services can be delivered effectively by the right staff. |
Cross-Organisation Workforce Management Capability involves planning the assignment and deployment of a Health and Care workforce across a collection of Organisations and sites providing a range of services to a community in order to best meet the health and care needs of the population. This may involve Health and Care Professionals operating from locations outside of their 'home' Organisation or location (e.g. in other Organisations premises) which requires co-ordination of the various resources (people, equipment, 'rooms', etc). The Cross-Organisation Workforce Management Capability will allow schedules to be created that assign the correct staff, locality and equipment to services and for these schedules to be shared with staff.
The Capability may allow for trend analysis and future forecasting and may also allow sharing of the workforce information with other Solutions. Management information reporting within the Capability enables monitoring.
